I did some research and maybe I’m late to the party but I just discovered programmable wave makers with pulse and random settings. I’m gonna order one and see if this fixes my artificial looking shimmer

I put in a programmable wave maker today and I still need to dial it in better but I think the shimmer already looks more natural than before

I think I got it dialed in now, I was going for the look of gentle waves bouncing off the shore and going the other way, kind of like what I see when I’m at a lake
