Thanks for all the input guy's.
I took the cover off one of the fixtures and exposed the ballast.
Here is what is on the ballast itself.
Let me know what you think.

Now I have a new problem.
The fixtures I bought are 48" fixtures. But....They are 48 1/4 inches long. My tanks total width is only 96 inches. So with both fixtures side by side, they equal 96 1/2 inches. Also, the cords are located at the end of the fixture. That add's anothe 1/2 inch total. So now my canopy wont fit on the tank with the lights installed.
And I cant position the lights at an angle to make them fit cause then I cannot open the lids to feed the fish.
So I guess I have to return the fixtures now.
Are all 48" light fixture's longer than 48"? Or are aquarium spec fixtures made to be exactly 48"?

Also, why is it that a 48" dual tube fixture made by Perfecto and AllGlass cost $100+ and a Coralife 48" dual tube fixture with Colormax Bulbs cost less than $50.00?

Am I missing something here?
