lighting question.

if you go into the acitanic range you will not be providing the right color spectrum for your plants if you have fake plants a blue light does look good in a clear water tank and wont hurt the fish any but will cause a bit more algae growth if your waters not changed regular
but if you have plants you need a 6500k white light as for the diferance in the two couldnt tell ya never heard those numbers used before
 
Basically, just a small difference in the wavelength of the light output by each bulb. According to studies, inverts and creepy crawlies respond very well to light in the 420nm range. Of course, according to studies men can develop breasts from eating hot dogs so...
I'm not sure if you'll see any real benefits or negatives from either one.
