So I have a 100 gallon setup and I'm getting started in live plants. I have 2- 18" Coral Life 10,000k Bulbs, and 1- 48" basic Aquarium bulb. Yesterday I introduced 4 Anubias Nana Narrow's into my tank. I have all flourite substrate as well. My questions are, do i have an alright setup? Or am i just setup for Failure. Just so i don't get asked, Its a 100 gallon tank, with a Rena XP3 filter, and is heated to 79 Degrees.

IMHO I would trade in the 10k bulbs for ones more keen to promote photosenthesis, like a 6700 or flora bulb. I kept a planted tank for a long time and ran a halide setup and it grew plants like weeds. If you can find a used one on Craigslist, go for that, otherwise, change the 10k's fro lower ones. Good luck, the planted tank is one that will keep you busy in your head.

But will The Plants survive? should i just run the basic aquarium bulb? or only one of the 10k's?

Anything from 6,500K through 10,000K is what your should be aiming for. 10,000K bulbs are fine!
What is the K rating on the "basic aquarium bulb"?

The Bulb on the 48" lamp is just a flourescent bulb i think, its the kinda purple bulb, but i only have the 2 10,000k lights on. I also have been putting PondCare plant food tablets, and have 4 large fish in the tank

Good, if anything I wouldn't run the basic aquarium light.

Remember that the rhizome of the anubias needs to be above the substrate to get light and water flow, otherwise it will rot.

I'm not so good with fertilizers, maybe someone else can say something about the PondCare plant food tablets...

That's awesome! thanks man, and i read that about the rhizomes online when i bought them and made sure to do so. They've been in there for about 4 days now, and with my fish beating them up, they still seem to be doing awesome and staying green. Thanks for all your help!

Nice tank! Anubias are mainly root feeders. If you end up getting algea on them just raise the light fixture up a couple inches and then see what works best for you! I wouldn't use Diy co2 with just anubias, they are slow growers. It will help with the grouth rate but I don't think it's worth it.

Yes well, As someone else on MFK said "You could grow anubias plants in a toilet bowl."
