lighting suggestions needed

Anyone ever try something like this? More of a question, I just was thinking how they could go into a desk lamp no problem and that is what the OP mentioned maybe doing here.

Seems like a decent bulb for a low-light tank. The output of that bulb is a little higher than one of the 10w LED floodlamps, which are about 484 lumens.
