I didn't have a tank they would fit on, I got rid of the whole set-up.

TEK lighting is more efficient than other T5's of the same style, but only if you are growing extremely light needy plants.

Whoever was talking about the Nova Xtreme's, these are awesome lights on a budget. I have them over a couple of tanks. The freshwater versions come with a daylight bulb and and "Plant-Gro" bulb (can't remember the K rating... maybe 5,500 I want to say). $108 for a 48" light fixture is a pretty good deal. (at least, that's the price on petmountain.com)
 
The TEK lights are no more efficient than any other HO T5 lighting. The Hagen Glo series provides just as good a growth rate as the TEK's but costs 1/7th the cost. The best lighting out there is still the LED setups by PFO called the Solaris.

in lux comparison,power comsumption etc.... only difference btween anything i ever noticed is the bulbs make a difference....
 
i want something that makes things clearer. i know that has to do with the water mostly, but i want a kind of bulb that highlights everything instead of dawning its own color (like blue or yellow). is there anything like this? or am i not making sense.....
 
i have the 6700k agro sun bulbs bright clear tank...
 
have this on several tanks ;) but im refering to my 90 gallon my 220 is still power compacts cause i have them and the t5 fixture i want is out of budget now
