you can gut that fixture and make your own hood to match that stand pretty easy.

Yeah i'm going to finish enclosing the bottom first, then build a nice canopy to match it all. when I enclose the bottom I am probably going to change the trim to something nicer....the whole top is temporary until I get around to building a canopy
