t5 hos would be ideal set up power compacts are cheaper most of the time and as long as it is not a reef tank will do the trick quite nice

How much do overhead lamp usually run? I have a 10 gal with no hood that I want to set up just for fun but I don't really want to go all out in terms of money.

I talked to my lfs for which i love just cause they do stupid things like me such as my there tanks as intense as they can, anyways the guy i talk to said go with 10k compact not as expensive as halgeons calling me back on a price

I cant help that, I picked up the lights, check in the photo lunge, they were 350 for them there 10k, 6 led luners, the clear and black its crazy
