I bought this canister filter brand new in the summer of 2012 from a local fish store that was going out of business. I took it out of the box and just ran water through it once to make sure it worked, then dried it thoroughly and it's been stored in the box ever since. I was going to use it on my 120 gallon tank but opted to go with a wet/dry instead. And since the store was out of business, I couldn't return it. My wife is tired of seeing this sit in our closet so I have to sell it - although I had getting rid of it because it would be a great back up filter in case my wet/dry ever poops on me but oh well...
This is the largest Filstar canister filter (XL). It is rated for fish tanks up to 265 gallons. As you can see by the pictures, it comes with the box, all the original accessories and manual. Like I said, I have literally run water through it once to make sure it worked and that's it. It's never been used otherwise.
I'm also including a bunch of Rena filter media I bought from the same store when I bought the filter. You're getting the following (all brand new in the box):
Rena 20ppi filters (2 boxes - 2 filters in each box)
Rena 30ppi filters (2 boxes - 2 filters in each box)
Rena Microfilters (1 box - 3 filters in the box)
Fluval Biomax (4 500 gram boxes)
I am located just outside Minneapolis, MN. If you live in the Twin Cities area you can come pick it up or I'll ship it anywhere in the U.S. via UPS or USPS (your choice). If you want it shipped economy or priority, I don't care as I'll charge you for the shipping so you decide.
Price: $130 plus you pay shipping. My guess is shipping would be around $20 - $25.
