:)I have been in every fishstore within 150km I have even been driving 350km to a store that I thought would have some monster fish but no! None of them had nothing more exciting than some Synodontis that maxed 5". And when I drove to the closest LFS I was like Holy %¤#! They had:

2x Giraffe cats that was fully grown price: 125 $ each
1x Snakehead (Channa Bleheri) price: 25$ each
1x Wolffish (Erythrinus Erythrinus) price: 25$ each
10x Fully grown up Synodontis eupterus price: 20$ each
2x Paroon Sharks at 20" (Pangasius Sanitwongsai) price: 15$ each

He told me that he could get me pretty much any cat I wanted I asked him for a Jurense and he told me: "Yeah, I get them in 2 weeks" :WHOA:
Guess whos gonna get some new tanks to fill with some nice cats.

I got home with these fish:
1x Tiger Moray Eel (Gymnothorax polyuradon)
1x Polyterus Endlicheri Endlicheri (P. Endlicheri)
1x Gar
1x Tsn at 1,5" (Fasciatum) <-- I think, hard to tell at his size
2x Fireel (Mastacembelus erythrotaenia)

:D

I am gonna have the Paroons and my RTC in a pond since the paroons are 5-7cm bigger than my RTC. The TSN will grow up in my 12gal and then 100gal and then to my 250gal and end up in the Paroon-RTC pond, (big sized pond).

Funny thing is that the LFS's I thought had monsterfish did not have nothing but guppies, and the one I least excpected to have cool fish, had some pretty nice ones!

Pics are coming :D Yea I know, they ain't Illeagal in Sweden so I can't belive I didnt pick it up, well it's just some miles away so I guess I'm gonna have to get it now in the next few days :) They had some Channa Micropeltes aswell but they get too aggressive if you ask me, I dont want them to take chunks from any of my other fish ;)

OMG don't talk like that!! I had a Micro when I was a kid pre ban!!! most monstrous fresh water fish imaginable!! I mean of course it was alone! but the best single fish tank i've ever had:headbang2

The G. polyurandon is a fascinating fish, which tank are you planning to keep it in? Brackish?

Yes, it really is! I will keep it in a 150g brackish when it is bigger, it is in a 50g atm, the 50g is more than twice as big as the fish so i think that will do for now. They can be hard to get to eat, I am planning on building a "cave" in styrofoam and then glue it to a stone at them bottom to avoi it from floating.

Wow seems like you had a lot of fun..........get us some pics of your new pickups!!

oh, lucky eel! I have one myself. I got him around... 5 inches or so and he is now 14" in brackish waters. Might get him to salt later though.

The fish store had him in fresh, then after I paid for it told me I might want to have it in brackish by about a year...:screwy: dont have to though... crazy.

I hate to see them in the fresh water on their side and bairly making it at the store, and not telling the people who want them what they need. just like the one down the street they have like 5 in a little 10 gallon all on their side and not really moving. Yours is really lucky.

Anyways, Congrats on all your new pickups. Cant wait for the pics
