oh, lucky eel! I have one myself. I got him around... 5 inches or so and he is now 14" in brackish waters. Might get him to salt later though.

The fish store had him in fresh, then after I paid for it told me I might want to have it in brackish by about a year...:screwy: dont have to though... crazy.

I hate to see them in the fresh water on their side and bairly making it at the store, and not telling the people who want them what they need. just like the one down the street they have like 5 in a little 10 gallon all on their side and not really moving. Yours is really lucky.

Anyways, Congrats on all your new pickups. Cant wait for the pics

You are 100% right! The Store where I bought my eel told me that I could do brackish if I wanted to but it "really" wasn't neccesary if you asked him. To bad I don't know of any brackish cats that would like to go with a moray eel, do you guys know of any brackish cats at all? :S

Columbian shark.

ah ofcourse why didn't I think of the Columbian shark :S hmm they sure are hard to get around here, I might be able to order some from my LFS. I dont think they would pick on the moray eel if the moray are big enough and the moray wont be able to eat the sharks if they are over lets say 7-8"
