i always wanted a lacerta , but all i see here is lacerta agillis or the lactetas curl tail lizards the smaller ones, but i wanted one of those, even did a thread on here close to a year ago , before i got my AWD
Curly tail lizards are iguanids (Tropidurids) not Lacertids...

Have you gotten also the basking ligth and some calcium vitamin suplements? He should start to be a more acomplished eater very soon. Dont forget to include more interesting food items like crickets, locusts, superworms and even hopper mice and to gut load all the bugs:D

i think he is liking the UV lamp .... but he still hides most of the time ....
hes still eating mealworms , and ocassionally peaches....
is dried fruit mix ( apple, raisin, pear etc ) from Walgreen a suitable treat? cuz the previous owner said he loves raisin... .but i was worried about the sugar content n stuff ...

Your rigth to worry, too much sugar will afect its digestion and potencialy give him dierria. The ideal fruits for these guys are figs, mango, papaya, grapes, bananas and kiwi. Most will taste first and then decide if they wanna eat so dont buy the fruit for the lizard, buy it for yourself and try a bit on the lizard. Avoid using peaches as stapple fruit because they are high in nitrates and oxalates. And that the fruit part is only about 20% of the diet, the rest is bugs and only mealworms is very poor, you need to ad more bug species to the diet. You also need the vitamin/mineral suplement
