lima cat fish isn't eating...

my lima cat fish is about 10-12 inches
he hasn't ate in over a month...he ate anything before and alot too...but now when i try to feed him he runs off like im trying to kill him....he still swims healthy...

help me pleaseeeeeee

What types of tankmates does he have? Is it possible that they are picking on him or he's stressed to the point where he doesn't want to eat?

im thinking that he might ate some rocks?

he still sheds skin and everything but im not gettin why he is not eating anymore

Have U tried feeding him with the lights off?

he runs off and scares the other fishes and hits the walls when i try to feed him

have you checked the water params lately? those are some big eaters that are gonna produce lots of waste and if the nitrates get too high or the ammonia or nitrites are present at all the lima would probably be the first to show the effects. I'd test those right away and see if you may need to step up the water changes.

try some frozen shrimp on the bottom, if he eats feed him LOTS and he will puke any rocks up thay he has swallowed
