P bass would outgrow it over time imo, Lima's though it'd be fine for a group of them.

i have a lima with my gar, silver aro, flagtail, bichirs and no problems yet. i plan on getting 1 fire eel and maybbe an african aro. they are currently in a 240 gallon tank.

i have my lima with; aros, bichirs, jurunese cat, bgk, clown knife, pbass, payaras, peacock eel...i am growing out dats and a fire eel for tankmates...once the cat is big enough it will be with my gar aswell...

Whats the footprint of this 125 you have because recent posts on here say and prove they get over 20"
but polys etc would be fine but 99% of the time dont mix polys and plecs.

I agree with spwd, that might not be big enough in the long run, though limas are very slow growers once they get past 10-12" so it would probably be fine for at least 5-6 years.

I agree but perhaps not that long,so youll need an upgrade eventually but your good for a few years.

It takes them around 3-4 years just to get to 14", so I think it would take a pretty long time to get one big enough to outgrow a 125.
