ok first :chillpill: after reading the title if it is a bad idea. i havent done it yet i was just wonderin if i could. i will have random central american cichlids in the tank. and maybe pictus or 4 line pim depending on if could get a lima...

i had a lima in my 125 for a while, great fish, highly reccommended
 
ok so would it be ok with theese tank mates?

blood parrot1
red tail cuda1
buenos aires tetras6(yes i know they will eventually be eaten they are the testers)
green terror1
and 1 bushnose pleco?
or would it get beat up? yes it will be slightly overstocked but to cope with that i will be running an fx5 and a marineland biowheel emperor 250. thnx

no aggressive cichild i have a Lima and i had mine with some cichild and he got pick on. :)
 
nice i came across this thread. im currently trying to find a used 150 for my stand and canopy i have refinished and was just thinking about the bottom dwellers for this!
 
ok actually the cuda is a very passive species, A. altus, not falcatus. and the green terro is still a maybe. the red texas is very shy and will check out any new tank mate, but after that he goes back to drifting in the filter input current. sorry i guess i should have done scientific names and individual personalities. so that in mind will he be ok? also the blood parrot cant even harm anything bigger then an endler's livebearer...:)
