love the pic of the tsn and lima!

lol, yeah amazon is right that tsn is actually a planiceps, the planiceps is around 20-21" long if that gives you guys any perspective on the size of the lima. Tnx, they really don't like each other but I think the limas think the planiceps is a big lima they try to hang with him but he just knocks them out of his way so that he can lay there in peace!

How do you guys get your lima off live feeders? So far mine devoured guppies, but have not touched chuncks of silverside, nor Hikari Carnivore pellets.

When i bought mine, the fish store was feeding him rosies. He didn't eat for more than 2 weeks at the house. This was very frustrating for me. Well one day he stated to eat shrimp and then pellets. Now he eats everything. His gut gets huge. It just takes time. I thought he was going to starve himself to death.

my lima was prety picky at first. bu when he reahced abnout 5-1/2in he went nuts on eveything. now he eats pellets disc even algae waffers. i pack him full eveynight and hes grown quite a bit. just keep feeding him frozen silversides if hel take them. then aftr a wile reduce the amount and put pellets into the food..then take frozen away. might have to stavre him a lil befor he really gets accustomd. hope this hleps.
