lima shovel-nose catfish not eating

So I got this 4 inch shovel nose 6 months ago and he didn't eat much but now he hasn't eaten any thing what are some foods they go crazy for he won't eat hikari massivoro delite. I have had some success feeding him earthworms please help.

try feeding it chicken liver, i killed seven red tail baby catfish , i feed them pellets but they didnt eat them, so after that i gave up and feed them chciken liver try giving it a little piece if it eats it well and good. my shovelnose and redtail catfish goes crazy for it.

I know this thread is old but I have the same problem my Lima only eats live fish I have tried dropping chunks of shrimp/crawfish right In front of him he won't touch it any advice??

Try fasting it for as long as it takes for it to break. If your LSN is ~6" and healthy, even a month is quite ok. One can also tie a thread to a piece of fish or shrimp and shake it in front of the fish, if it still shows no interest after 2-3 weeks.

You can try frozen Blood worms. I have a baby lima and it loves blood worms.

Try doing the same thing this guy did, worms, shrimp, try it. Might work
