Lima Shovelnose Cat

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they can grow to 2' in adult size, so i would go with a tank that is 6' to 8' wide by 3' in width by 2' to 3' high.

6'x 2 1/2' x 2' would be good for one.

Sure... while young... it takes awhile for these guys to get to a Big size... but in the end... NO not true.. Alot of what PC has to say is simply not worth the page it's printed on... some people would say that they have ummmm strong views towards how to keep fish which usually is bass akwards to what the reality is.

the typical 50 G is only 12" wide... which means you can keep them in there for awhile but not as a long term home... even at 18" wide it isn't a permant home.. as with most cats it's the foot print of the tank that means more than the total gallons
