How big do lima shovelnose cats typically get?

Is a 75 too small?

Are they compatible with cichlids? Theres a carpintis and a pike in there now.
I assume limas grow pretty quick so i'd have to wait a while for these to get bigger.

I don't have a lima, I'm just doing research. Shovelnose cats are cool they, and limas are the smallest ones I know of. The cichlids are around 2.5 inches.

My other 75 has a male GT around 5-6 inches, but its got clown loaches and giant danios which I assume would be eaten. I'm willing to shuffle stuff around if it means getting a lima though.

Im not sure how much per month, Im guessing about an inch per month maybe alittle less. Once they hit around 8-10 inches though the growth rate slows down. You would be fine with a 75 for a while

Now I have to find a place that has them.

A 75g would be good for life, but your pike and texas will probably be a little too agressive for one. Lima's are completely non agressive but will eat what ever they can swallow. People claim that they can get 2ft but I've never seem one over 16 inches and have heard that 18 inches is a more likely adult size in an aquarium.
