if u get a 2ft back tank but 5ft or 6ft long u could house 3 mabey more lsn if u wanted 2 for life aswell

I got two just under a year ago. Both were 4", now one is almost a foot long and but the other is around 9", the larger is a more aggressive eater.

I've got two of them a little over 2 years old. One is 16", and the other is 13". I plan on increasing the size of their tank soon. They are currently in a 75 gal. The biggest one eats around 5-8 1" shrimp every night. He likes to fight with my jur over them. My jur is just at the 15" mark so the lima is still larger lol. I really need to finish the 200 gal I'm building for them.

hmm.. cool info.. I always considered limas the little guys of the catfish world.. I have one at 12" something and judging from his non aggressive feeding he seems to have little plans to grow much more.. I would however like him to reach 18 or something..

Here is my 18"+ lima
