Lionfish Help!!!!!!!

My Dwarf Lionfish doesnt move and he is a real pale color. Is he sick?

is he clinging to a rock or a corner? is he new? what's in with him?

He is in a 55 gallon tank by himself and he clings to the live rock. I just ot him on 4-26.

That's pretty much what they do they cling to the rocks waiting for prey. Also mine would swim from time to time. they also do not like alot of flow.

Being really pale sounds not so good but as has already been said sitting around is what dwarf lionfish do.
Does he eat?? If not try small live shrimp if you can get them.

How long has the tank been set up? Sounds like he's just new and getting settled in. How much light is on him? (Meaning does the set up have dark spots for him to hide)

i would turnoff the tanklights but leave the room light on for a day and try feeding him some live food (as said shrimp are good to get them eating)
and wait a few days,
look for signs of disease,
and slowly bring him into "nromal" aquarium life

it does sound like he's just a little freaked from the move but the stress could lead to problems. precaution is the best bet for now.

Make sure he doesn't have eye cloud also..... I had that problem and I used something called Rally it works really well!
