Lionfish question???

ok i got a new red volitan lionfish today and was just wanting to know if its normal for them to flip upside down when feeding..hes acting fine and eating like a pig

Flipping upside down is not something i've ever encountered with this species, either from my own tanks or watching them on the reef.

he slept all night vertical next to the heater and i checked the water temp its at 79

Thats fine....when you said upside dowm, i thought you meant swimming upside down while getting food and eating...LOL....nothing to worry about there..
