Anyone here keep or know much about lionhead rabbits?

I'm going to be picking a female up this weekend, trying to get as much info as I can about them.

Would it be beneficial to get two females so they don't feel lonely during the day or will this cause issue's in the future?

It depends if you are planning on spaying your rabbits. I have had problems with agresssion with f - f cohabitants and I have had some that lived fine. Do you plan on spaying?

Yeah, what's a good age for spaying? The rabbits we'll be getting were born on Christmas Day.

What's involved in their care outside of the obvious of rabbit requirements?

"The quick answer: at about the age at which the rabbit reaches the age of sexual maturity. For the majority of rabbits, this means at about 4-6 months of age. Giant breeds of rabbits may reach maturity a couple of months later so the surgery might be done a little later in these breeds if necessary. You should notice when your bunny hits sexual maturity, aka puberty. They become terrible teens! That's when you know its time!
