If you're going to go through spaying, a better pair combination is a male/female pair. I have a neutered buck in with an intact doe and they do just dandy, eventually our doe will be fixed too. Spaying is helpful to control hormones, prevents uterine cancer if you're not breeding, and adds time to their lifespan! Lionheads are a nice breed, but are high maintenance for grooming; They're serious shedders, and mats can occur underneath the tail, causing elimination issues...
