Both jaguar cats are doing well in the 300 polypterus tank. I hardly ever see the larger of the two but this one has always been active.

Tonight caught her swimming laps with a much larger congicus. It was a funny sight. Unfortunately i wasnt able to capture it.

Nice captures,Jaws. It's good to see some jags out and about and being active.

Thx bro. I just wish they grew a little quicker. I dont think the vulture will pose a threat any time soon as it has a pretty small mouth but some the polys are getting large.

Lol you wish they grew quicker? Mine doesn't seem to have grown an inch in the last year yet stuffs his/her belly every chance he/she gets.

Geez if thats the case. Theres no way they'll be able to stay in there long term.

Im having surgery in the next couple of weeks after i recover i'll need to set up a small tank for them.....or throw them in the sump

Well if it makes you feel better yours look bigger than mine and no one found mine as prey, maybe they stink lol. Also we do have kolt's experience of them growing fast to 8". Maybe we are doing something wrong

I was feeding a variety of pellets but I stopped throwing anything in except massivore that's all they eat and I end up having to siphon every other pellet or freeze dried piece out. Temp is about 80F I feed about twice a week whenever the Trachy comes out to forage I'll drop some in when I get my midnight snack lol. I think they'll get to thenfood before the bichirs

I think all of the switching tanks had a negative effect on mine. They used to eat like beasts pushing the other two larger cats (vulture&jur) around but now they are more timid since being moved around two or 3 times. I hope they settle in soon

I feed mainly tilapia and mega fish (NLS)
