List of Bichirs?

so you think jack dempseys will work? honestly from the feedback i've been getting recently i think it is really about the individual dempsey... some are nice, others are mean so i guess ill just have to find out by myself.

i have one for sale :) hes been living with my bichirs for months now and is only aggressive towards other cichlids.
 
also, what i am saying is that, not all cichlids are fish-killing machines like some other people are saying. sure it can depend on the individual fish, but also, aggression can decrease if they have been growing up together. IME, ive had my jack dempsey with all of my bichirs, from my largest Palmas Buettikoferi to smallest SB albino senegal and he has left them all alone.
 
btw, for the jack dempsey, can you give me a list of foods to feed him? i only have frozen raw shrimp and frozen bloodworms right now

lol not exactly... buy one when its really small and grow it out with your bichirs. for ex. get a 7+ inch bichir with a 4-5 inch Jack dempsey.

i feed my jack dempsey with frozen krill, sinking shrimp pellets and hikari floating pellets.
