I've heard they can be touchy at young stages and I don't keep coldwater tanks...

Many users have kept them in tanks of 80 degrees F just fine. Touchy? No more so than any other young fish, from what I've heard of at least... They are North American wolf fish dude, practically speaking...


one of my professors has a skull of a large specimen in his lab... it has very formidable teeth! when I get a digital camcorder one of these coming months, I will be sure to take pics of it.

anyway, I want lantern fish (or whatever those fish are called that have the lil dangly thing from the top of their head and the big ass teeth) .. i dont even care about scientific names... i just know I've seen them in the Baltimore Aquarium years back, and I want em... I'm a noctrunal creature myself, so lights out isnt THAT big of a deal, saves electric bill anyway
