Few more pictures of this guy. He is getting beefy. Starting to get flatter nose (similar to goliath). Still growing terribly slow. He is about 6.5-7" here.
he is a spaz, he freaks any time i come near the tank!

How long have you had him?

What are you feeding? I'd expect him to have a little more color at that size, but maybe it's just the pics...... Looks like the tail fin hooks are just starting to come in... Going to start coloring up nicely very soon.....

My Tatf are actually growing faster then my Gatf. Went from a G that I thought may be capable of eating the Ts to almost the same size within the last few months. But they definitely are no Armatus when it comes to growth... lol

Do you have a crazy amount of current in the tank? Korilias really seem to help regarding the freak outs.....

Got him end of Feb. he was about 4" or so.

Occasional feeder, but mostly tilipia.
He is alone in a 36" x 18" tank. Has decent current. You getting better growth than this?

I think he's outgrown that tank. At 6-7" I'd say a minimum of 48" long is best. Obviously the bigger the better.
