little buggers are picky eaters !

Oh that's a good idea ! Ya we need a sticky on that there man... I might try that after 2morrow not gonna feed em for a day and drop in some soaked pellets and see if they take it... Fingers crossed...

Don't do it...too small for skipped feedings. Try my method and they should be converted within 2-3 weeks. The more fish eating the quicker it will be.

Yeaterday i picked up two 6 inch wild peru monos. They are quite skinny. I don't think they have eaten for a while and wouldn't touch frozen or pellet last night. Just to get them feeding and little fatter would it be recommended feeder fish or river shrimp?

bezza try silversides first....a frozen whole fish...small. USe feeders as a last resort. Market shrimp is worth a shot as well. When i have to go the live right i perfer black worms or tubifex worms. I think it makes it easier to ween them off than live fish.

so i woke up this morning and went to feed them jut brine shrimp and one was sitting in top corner, put some shrimp in and look like he got starttled or something he just started swimming all over the place near the surface and started swiming up and down like a SOB everywere !! then he layed on the bottom and say there for a bit didnt knwo what else to do really so i left them for a bit checked bout half hour later and he laye don bottom dead !! grrr..... makes me mad !!

he was also much smaller then the other one i have, so maybe he wasnt "aggressive" enough when it was feeding time ? they got feed morning then mid morning snack lunch mid aternoon snack and supper and sometimes right before i head to bed before lights go off so not like they didnt get fed well.... but my other one is alot bigger very active and eats VERY well
