I got two little Dats today. These are my first and I'm happy to have this forum to help me along in taking care of them. They've both already eaten some mysis shrimp and blackworms. Sorry for the messy glass, I've been working on this tank all evening. I'll get better pictures soon!

I'd keep an eye on your ray. Those little dats would make a pricey meal

Thanks guys! Sinister, yeah when they indos first went in, the ray was watching them closely. I may need some more hiding spots. The rays are still pretty small though.

Thanks Boggy. I'm hoping the retics won't chow down on the Dats...so far so good, they made it through the night. One of the Dats showed nice coloring soon after being in the tank, the other one is still very light in color.

Sticky, you told me where to get them so I have you to thank for the pickup!

I'm feeding blackworms, bloodworms and mysis shrimp right now. Any recommendations on something else I should be giving them?
