Thanks, this morning I have 8 total Betta to work on. If I find a good pic of Koi/Koi pond, then I can try those too.

Several are great, a few seem a little too stylistic. Much better than I could do, though.
Have you tried painting on black paper? I would like to see my Oscar on black in your styling, realistic or not it would look neat, I think. Can you do anything on black with this guy?

They really are neat.
I'll bet you could easily offer to matt them and charge folks a small fee to paint their fish. You could fund your supplies and still make enough $$ to make it worth your time. I could easily see paying $20 for a simple matted painting of a fish I love. And much more than that for a larger, more detailed painting.

Yes, Piggy's owner already contacted me to do one of him. I'm waiting on a more free day since I'm going to do him on a bigger sheet. Too much detail in him for a tiny 6-7in by 4in bit of paper!
