I moved the female last night to the pond, and a five gallon bucket is not quite big enought for a 13-14" ray, what a job.... Hopefully it will not cause any problems as she more than likely got knocked up again. I guessd in the pond she still will get somewhat of a break away from the other rays, even thought she is prego again.

awesome rays, other than the fact the female got "raped". How do you know that in fact she is with child? are male rays that potent? is one mating ritual enough? I am just curious cause my 2 rays have just done the dirty deed and I am excited, yet I am nervous because there maybe a possiblity that she is not preggo.

if they did it, she is pregnant. If he did not actually get her, he will do it until he gets her... So far i witnessed every time but this one and evertime it is like clockwork. You will see movement at around day 50-60 she will start gett bigger at aroun 30-40 days.

THere was sperm floating around so i know mine got her again.
