My Oscar, about 13", has what looks like a pimple on the tip of the inside of his mouth. He's about 5 years old, in a 125 gal tank with only "snacks" as tankmates (tiger barbs and danios), the water is pretty close to perfect, I have had him since he was very small, so I've been doing a pretty good job so far (research, learning, etc.) I know it's breedign time and he wants to breed and is showing off a little and rubs on the glass.
Is this the cause of the "soar" on this inside of his mouth?
Does he have the Herp?
Just kidding....
He's gotten the same thing once or twice before around the same time.
