Beautiful fish but I would cover the white bottom with some type of Garnett sand. White will wash out your beautiful fishes.

I had been considering the longest time for using garnet sand in my tank. I am using IOS sump filtration system with a high flow rate pump. Wouldn’t want the sand to be flushed into my sump.

I agree with Dloks Dloks i resisted the dreaded red sand for a while but theres ni comparison once you make the change.

Im running a sump and have no issues with the sand. Whats am IOS sump ?

There are ways around getting sand into your filter by the placement of your returns. Angle your power head where it’ll Only blow the debri and not sand. Many many many and myself have done this method and it works fine

IOS means Internal Overflow System

So overflows are inside the tank. Yes i have this as well and have never seen a grain of sand in the sump.

Garnet sand is heavy, imo much heavier than pfs.

I think you'll be fine. What gph are you running and what are you using for mechanical filtration
