little sperm looking parasites in my tank

yea, they do look like mites. how are they harmful?? how did you get rid of them?? i havnt done water change yet, my barrel needs cleaning first

i left uneaten food there and tried netting it out. but this was a waste of time cuz they just multiply it seemed like.
i think i started to do more water changes and took out uneaten food and one day they just disappeared.

i want to revive this thread again for another question. so i noticed that those little sperm looking things are all over my fish's poop, im not sure if they are speeding up the decomposition process but when i was gonna do water change, i cant find any trace of my fish's poop! im 100% sure that its NOT my filter (prefilter, too high of a tank,etc). i moved the sand around, and still no signs of poop!!

so maybe, just maybe those sperm looking things are benificial to the tank??? what do you think??

but yea you could try useing "No More Algae" by Jungle. I havent seen what you got in your tank but you could give it a whirl.....

il go with meds/treatment if i cant fix it with just water change, thanks though, i would def try that out if all else fail
