these little ones grow so fast. Although still small, they have doubled size in 6wks. just the first of many pics to come before the goal of 2 foot fish. Wish me luck!

thanks homies! ebjds and umbees only together for now. as the umbees grow they will be placed with larger cichlids. I have never kept these fish before, nor have I kept Dovii. Most aggressive fish I had was a cuban, so I'm a little nervous about the umbees' temperment.
I'll take some pics today and post em in a new thread called "Rambo's EBJDeezees" should be easy to spot.
just an update on my 7 umbees. its been about 3 months and some have grown to 2", yet some remain 1". I bought them back in July at 0.5" and they are not growing as fast as I've been told they do. I love em but I would like to see them grow faster. open for sugestions
What are you feeding? I purchased 7 a month ago ranging between 1" and 1.5". One has hit 3" already, 4 have put one some size while the others haven't grown at all. I'm feeding NLS sinking pellets and Omega One flakes. Doing 50% weekly water changes also.
