looken good man !!I hear on the tough year !!!! glad your still here i just started getten on here last may i think i remember seeing pics if not still good seeing a fellow hobbyest maken a come back.I'm in cali and a paint contracter so i hear ya it's been "devistating" Im 41 and in25 years of working i never seen it this bad for this long:(
 
I'm a master plumber and getting laid off from an employer you love sucks. Add the fact that I live in a small community and was making really good money for my area, it makes it really hard to find a comparable job. Thanks for all the comments. I am actually more proud of my RCK than the aro. I went through 3 RCK before I got one to survive which is weird for me. and a 24" RCK is an impressive sight in real life. An absolute beautiful fish.

Hey bro you really find out who the (true good guys are in the trades right now)Doods owe me money all over the place andact like they don't know who you are now!!! A very small percentage maybe count on one hand the true good guys.Keep in touch with your boss it will come back eventually unless he's gonna hang it up!! but I'm sure your going to sounds like you care for and respect the Man!!

That Royal is SWEET!. I never paid much attention to them but yours is stunning. The tail looks awsome!
How aggressive is he towards other tankmates/bottom dwellers?

amazing man! i remember yours was one of the tanks that inspired me back in the day. that gar should be a lot bigger than 13" though
 
yeah being unemployed the feeding regiment took a big hit. I went from feeding frozen krill, pellets, silversides every day to feeding frozen market shrimp once a week. Had to feed the family first. hopefully he will start growing again

I'll see if I can get that tank score up this week when I do the aquascaping with all the plants I have. It's pretty bare now. :)
