Little white creatures

I work at a pet store in the fish department, and we have creatures that look very much like this all over our goldfish wall. Our department manager has been on a warpath trying to destroy them, and has been medicating the entire wall. He seems to be under the impression that we have a swarm of baby anchor worms...
We've also had customers come back with bags of water with them in it demanding refunds, etc. As I have no personal experience with anything like them, I've been referring them to our manager. They are extremely small, maybe 1-2mm max.

Unfortunately I do not have pictures, but any thoughts or opinions on this would be greatly appreciated!

as already stated ..there harmless.. we all have them, just that most of us dont see them..they only come out when we over feed..

i usually get rid of them by wiping the glass and doing a quick gravel vac (to get the uneaten food out) and maybe do a W/C also..

Yeah i get the same stuff on my tanks... Regular WC solved the prob...
