Does anybody here use methalyne blue to rid the water of parasites??? and has anyone used angel vita drops on their bichir's water???

What adverse effects does the methalyne blue have? will it kill my bichirs? i hope not...

i have a 35 gallon tank and put 2 teaspoons of methalyne blue whenever i change the water every 2-3 weeks.
