I apologize

I just purchased 50 pounds at a local fish store. You guys are right! I decided to stop trying to get it so cheap and realized it wasn't going to happen. I guess I got a good price@ six dollars for cured rock with a great deal of growth. Once again I apologize if I annoyed anyone.

I went abit overboard. It was just annoying that the exact same post was in every thread but i guess i know what its like when you really want something.
If i had a huge tank ide annoy the crap out of everyone i know trying to get it set up as quickly and as cheaply as i could too.
Like was said 50 pounds will be fine now just try to find some base rock.
I have no idea what you get over there but base rock here when sold in shops is just live rock that is dead and dried out in sun to get rid of the dead junk (usually). So it looks like live rock but is white (lr is basically heaps old dead coral) and sometimes you can see bits of dead coral skeletons on the outside.

Look, I guess we are all a little compulsive when it comes to our fish keeping.
I am sure you hear it from your loved ones, as I do from mine, about how much time and money we spend on our fish. LOL

I have about 75 pounds of live rock that I purchased at between $7-$5. I guess I did okay. I also have in there right now about 70 pounds of base rock and just ordered another 50 pounds of base rock from eBay. Some I had, some my friend at the fish store sold me at about two dollars a pound, and the lack I just purchased on eBay was about a $1.50 a pound, with shipping. Did pretty good there.

Once again I apologize if I was annoying, it probably won't be the last time, but I need to get all the information I can from you guys you guys are the best source of knowledge. I'm pretty good with freshwater, so if you ever have a question about freshwater that I could answer for you, please feel free to annoy me as much as you want. LOL.
