Idk how to sex them the wife named them so if anyone can help clarify that for me that would be great

The easy way is to sex Oscar's is with food. Get thier attention with food just above the waters surface. What you want them to do is swim nearly vertical.
Then take some pictures of thier "Area".
You can in editing really zoom in on the area in question.
Males will have two very simular sized holes.
Looks like oo
Females will have one hole that is bigger than the other. Looks like Oo

Ah is that the only way? I was hoping for something easier like ffin difference or something

Oscars are very simular in size and shape across the sexes. This makes it hard to sex them. My way is the easiest on them, no taking out of the water to vent check.
