Don't know yet, they haven't contacted me back.. I would think they'd try to make it right?? But who knows?? You can see from the photo's I posted of the cichla I got from them, they aren't even close to tems...So that means they don't have a clue to what their selling as far as cichla go...So they might try to say they are infact "tems" and stick me with it... This is the first time I ever bought from Live fish Direct and the last so I'm not sure what giving me credit is going to do for me.. I really posted this so others wouldn't end up in the same boat as I with these clowns..
They emailed me back and refunded my money !! Cool they understood but still a bummer deal. At least they were cool about it and excepted they were wrong and said they don't normaly deal with cichla and could only take their suppliers word for it.. I guess if you don't know, you don't know. Even cooler their calling everyone else who ordered some and letting them know as well so there isn't any more freaked out new mono owners....lol

Live Scam Direct say it isn't so, I checked them out once, too expensive. That and they ship from the same location I'm at, but refuse to give me a cheaper price or let me come by to pick up. I'm not paying $30 shipping for a $5 fish. I don't support companies that profit from shipping. If it cost $8 to ship something, then charge your customer the same. It's better to see the fish in person than to buy it online anyway.
MPK if you wanted another Tem you should have talked to me bro I have one left and I am selling of course but I also know where there is one at a LFS in our area. Sorry you had to learn the lesson we all have learned in this Cichla game. Another mans trash is another mans treasure. Hang in there bro.

I called to buy 6 yesterday. They very kindly responded this morning saying they wernt going to run my cc because there was dispute as to the id of the species in stock. They said they will hold them for me and let me know the outcome. They said they bought them as tems and dnt wana sell me the wrong thing. THAT IS WHAT I CALL SERVICE!
Not everybody in the Sellers market know what sp of Cichla the have or what's the difference. It's been that way and hopefully if you guy's keep buying them the will learn from there mistakes one day.
yeah live fish direct has had alot of issues over the years the store is set up to fill internet orders so its not not walk in friendly really ive been there a couple times they are only open on saturdays to the public for the most part i wasn't impressed alot of the locals dont bother with them either this isnt the first time they have sold cichla with the wrong id i have a buddy here in slc that has a 22" tem that hes looking to sell if you want a monster one i know its legit
