live ghost shrimp

I recently acquired a nice 4" senagalus, it is doing fine in a 30 gal for now. I had it about for three weeks now, and i was wondering if feeding it live ghost shrimp would be fine?

P.S. the reason im asking is because my lfs is offering me about 100 live ghost shrimp for 5 dollars.

My Senegal Bichir loves them. Absolute joy to watch him hunt them down. 100 for $5 is a good deal but if he's all that is in there 20 or so would be enough even though it'd probably take him 2-3 days to get them all.

Hahaa, after rereading my post it sounded like i was gonna feed all 100 of them to it. I was just gonna feed about 10 or so, and give the rest to my knifes

ghost shrimps will even clean out some parts of your aquarium... before they get eaten...

i think theyre about 10cents each for me, so you can get two for the price i have to pay to get 1. but i still dont have to pay as much as BIGgourami.

They sell them by weight here ... and all my big fish eat them.

.10 cents ea (10 for a buck) here in philly.................I usually p/u 60 - 100 each week for my NGT dats ( my fatty gold sev enduldges aswell!)...........they do get pricy though when those 5 - 10 bucks worth are gone in a couple hrs!!!!!!!!!
