i don't buy them too often, just every once in a while to clean up my red belly tank he usually eats them in a month or two, so, extrapilate that.

anyways, I was just trying to give a quick update on feeding my senegal live ghost shrimp.
after about 30 minutes of it just watching them, it finally caught one and loved it, it ate about 12 in less then 10 minutes. Also, my ghost knife loved them also. Just to add, watching bichirs hunt and eat is cooler then any other fish eating, with the exception of arowanas eating live mice

I really don't think juvi bichirs know they are food right away hence they tend to follow them trying to figure out what the hell they are-Anne
mine love them and can get 500 for 45$ and evry no and then get deal on a couple of 100 for 10-15$ and alot have grown in my outdoor pond and scoop out about 10-20 every other day just for fun. great to watch pikes and bass and africans and s.am. go crazy and chase them all over the place!!!!!!!
hate to burst you bubble but 100 for $15 is worse than 500 for $45.

yeah i put a couple in mine a while back thinking "he'stoo stupid to know if that's food or not!" well apparently he was only stupid for like 5 seconds.and then back to his usual dullard self. gret personality tho. i love my poly!
