oh?! what ever happened to the tele p? i always thought you had a tele pee in there but i guess i'm wrong. have you attempted to check out their vents? lol i'm always interested in new footage. come on who are you kidding :grinno:

After several pit stops the Teepees ended up in Li's possesion. He then sold them through Mike. Last I heard they were all split up and went to different idividuals. It's a shame as the buyers don't seem to be members here. I'd dearly love to see how they look after being in captivity for 3+ years. I actually kick myself frequently for letting them go. I really wish I still had them.

I did try and vent them about a year ago but I think they were still too young. I couldn't see a difference. The ordeal seemed to stress the hell out of them so I haven't tried since then. I do think it's a pair however. Looking at them in the aquarium the other night there does appear to be a difference between them in the ventral region now. I know my wife often wonders what the hell I am doing squatting on the floor looking up at the fishes belly mumbling that I wish they cooperate so I can see their private parts better. :grinno:

If my kelbs breed they will be 100% SF's. No crossing of sub-species or different geographical races. :naughty:

:( kind of sad that they all were split up and i know the feeling of regret when letting a cichla go.

yeah, i personally will never net a fish out to vent or measure them for that reason and they always tend to get damaged. it's funny because as i started to read i was thinking to myself i attempt to peek up but doesnt work out the best because they never sit still. as i read on you stated that you do the same lol your a funny guy but i guys we all think a like, i wonder how many other people on the forum do the same. when me and my friends are hanging out over the house and i'm sitting there trying to take a look up i always get the weirdo look

Actually no. These came direct from Japan. I don't think the sp. "Gold" that came from Anthony turned out as heavily spotted in the fins. If you look at Joey's (R1-Ridah) pictures I think he has a couple of the sp. "Gold" in his tank.
