You're the one that thought it would be a good idea to ask how to clean plants from the wild and then casually mention how easily you could get illegal plants. And why so hostile?

Heu guys,

How do you make sure they are absolutely clean and tank ready? I know there is a way without just putting them. I want to kill anything that doesnt belongs in a fish tank that lives on these plants..

Thanks
Innocent question.

Also I know they are outlawed here in Texas, but in the local river there are giant water lettuce everywhere. Tons of big hornwort too. It's like a gold mine for us fish tank lovers.
Just after asking how to clean plants from the wild you casually mention how there is a lot of watter lettuce around and how it's a "gold mine" for fish keepers. Does this not seem suspicious???
Try a bleach dip.
Also are you joking about collecting illegal plants or are you not the brightest light bulb in the pack? If you get caught with those plants then you'll get hit with a fine and possibly jail time. Also there have been people on here that have moved into new states with old fish that are illegal in the new state and people from THIS SITE snitched on them and they got hit with massive fines. If you get them and get caught then don't come crying here, you'll get no sympathy.
So you think I insulted you eh? I said if you were planning on getting the illegal plants then you weren't smart. You weren't so I didn't insult you.
Yeah well you can suck on something else. How about to read before to spout off about stupid ****. Had you not insulted me maybe I would have responded in another way but to say basically saod I'm a dumbass and that pisses me off.
Frankly I don't give a damn if it pisses you off. I read it better then you and here you are telling me to suck a dick after YOU misunderstood what I had said.

I casually mentioned BECAUSE THEY ARE ILLEGAL BUT EVERYWHER.

Uh wrong again. Didnt say how easily I could get illegal plants. I was there for fish and certain plants. Had no idea water lettuce was there so when I saw it I mentioned it was everywhere even though being that illegal. Where it's legal im sure people have to pay for it.

Hello; The F Head is a fairly recent addition to this forum's membership and has managed to disrupt or inject spurious bits into a number of threads. At this point I suspect it is done with deliberation, perhaps as an attention getting ploy. I fear he will not go away as he has not to this point.
Another consideration with wild harvested plants has been for me that they generally do not transition well from natural sunlight to only tank light. I have suspected that staging the transition might work but have not tried such. By staging I am thinking of having a way to have the fresh plants in sunlight for several hours and then a few under artificial light. Then steadily changing the natural light over to all artificial light.

QT and the two dips might make them fairly safe but I do not know for sure.

Your post breaks two rules. Flaming and Trolling. Look up the rules if you don't believe me.
