For the inside, I use microfiber pads that I purchased from Target...they attach to an extendable pole. For the outside, I use microfiber cloths from Tap Plastic. No problems so far, but you MUST keep them clean and do not allow any dirt to contaminate them.

just the magfloat and LOTS of filtration.. i clean the inside of my tanks maybe once everyother month... the outside gets cleaned with a towel..
