I had to downgrade due to my landlord not wanting big tanks in the apartment so we agreed that I could keep the tank with geckos or other lizards. I would like to know what types of lizards can be kept in a 75 for life.

Well to keep a lizard by itself in that tank, you can almost get anything that reaches 16" long. This is from leopard gecko to bearded dragon. Do not try to keep any monitors, they require a large home.

Is this your first lizard?

I do not recommend keeping animals in groups as there always turns out to be dominant animal that eats more and does better then the rest. The weaker animals can be intimidated and starve due to this. This does not always happen, but I would rather not risk it.

Ok so any recommendations? I'm looking for something not aggressive and easy to handle if needed

Blue tongue skink. They are a unique animal and less common then dragons.

Any experience with chameleons?

Only thing I know for sure about chameleons is that they dehydrate quickly if not misted regularly. Something I am not sure about is that chameleons prefer open air enclosures. I heard, that if they see there reflection in glass, they get territorial. Again, not much experience with them, just things I have heard over the years.
