LM bass keeps gettin ich

Every time i try and introduce a wild caught bass in my tank they do great for a week then get ich. what should i do? i try to treat them with salt and ich medicine with little effect

What temp do you keep your tank at?

are you sure it's ick? lmb are notorius for getting fungus. might want to quarantine it in a smaller tank and treat it with antibiotics first before introduction.

whenever the bass got sick i took him out of the big tank and into a quarentine tank. I guess i was doin this backwards and will try it again, quarentineing the fish first.

vita-chem, the freshwater formula

If it was my LMB, I would raise the temp to 78'ish or 79'ish, add the recommended dose of salt, and let the immune system of the fish fight it and let it get stronger. If the fish does not make it, then it is not meant to be for the fish to make it.
