Hrm... the water in my 5 acre pond is usually in the high 70s or low 80s during the summer... none of hte bream, crappie, bass, catfish or shiners I've caught over 30 years have ever shown signs of an infection...

Am I just wierd but I caught two LMB four months ago and they are the hardiest fish....
